We mourn for tragic death of savar garments.
At least 404 garments workers have been found dead and thousands others injured as an 8-storied building--Rana Plaza--collapsed in Savar bus stand area of Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
The rescue team identified some 354 bodies and handed over to family and relatives.
Death toll may rise as many others were still trapped in the collapsed building. Police and hospital sources confirmed the matter to banglanews.
UPDATE-27, 8:55am Wednesday: District Administration sources confirmed the death toll.
Amongst them, last five bodies were recovered from the debris between 2:45am and 3:20am Wednesday.
As per the sources, 399 bodies were recovered till Tuesday noon.
Some 2,479 alive were rescued and were admitted to different hospitals.
UPDATE-26, 8:44am Tuesday: Confirming the death toll Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) sources said two bodies were recovered from rubble around 9:00pm Monday while six decomposed bodies till 8:45 am Tuesday.
A total of 2, 479 alive were rescued from the collapsed building.
UPDATE-25, 10:45am Monday: Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) director Shahidul Islam confirmed the death toll of 385.

Hundreds of agitated readymade garments workers, students and teachers besieged the office of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) in capital’s Karwanbazar on Sunday noon.
UPDATE-23, 11:52am: Dhaka district control office at Adharchandra School ground confirmed the death toll.
GOC of Ninth Infantry Division Chowdhury Hasan Sohrawardi, in a press briefing, said a decision has been taken on Sunday morning to use heavy equipments in the rescue operation in the rubble of Rana Plaza from noon.
UPDATE-22, 08:42am Sunday: Brigadier General Siddikul Alam Shikder confirmed the death toll.
Some 47 alive were rescued from the rubble on Saturday while three female workers were rescued alive around 1:45am Sunday, he added.
Rescuers recovered a total of 2, 475 alive till the time.
Besides, detective Branch (DB) police arrested M Aminul Islam, owner of Phantom Apparels of Rana Plaza, from Ramna of the capital at 10:30pm Saturday.
